I found the word 'briefly' interesting. It suggests he was rumbled by someone that actually knew what they're about.

I do believe this to be BS he made up. There are reports that there was a FOI request to find out what role he played and it turned out they didn't know who he was.

I read he was an advisor direct from the NABIS website, several years ago - cant find any trace of it now.

I remember seeing a list of their supporters, included Sainsbury's as I remember it. I did try to look it up sometime later but the reference had disappeared from their web site.
