Just browsing around and came across this little beauty, would love one for general fun and practical minirifle.
Can't seem to find anything about them even being allowed in the UK at all let alone an importer. Would they be legal with the built in moderator?

The part that caught my eye was this:
No need to buy subsonic ammo to be stealth quiet, our unique design gives you subsonic velocities with standard and high velocity ammunition.
Huh?

Not so good for practical mini rifle. The shot timer won’t detect the shot [FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND WINKING EYE]
Looks cool though.

Get a similar length with a cut barrel and a Wildcat whisper mod, about as quiet as you can get.

I dont see how any mod can get supers down to sub noise level as the noise occurs after its left the barrel (when the round goes supersonic)

You can't export suppressors from the USA unless you're military or Law Enforcement.
I do have this though:
12" barrel great for mini rifle and ATEC Wave mod is about 5" long and quiet enough with standard velocity CCI, mod is about £40.

Possibly H and K style ?
Ie - barrel heavily ported along full length of suppressor in addition to the baffles ?
I know that normal 9mm run through a MP5SD tends to come out subsonic.

The problem with a ported barrel is if you try to shoot subsonic ammo it will bleed off the pressure and not have enough oomph to operate the mechanism, especially with the .22.

So that's a no on importing, a no on commercial selling here and and a thumbs down on their claims anyways.
oh well, I thought they looked fun but its not the end of the world.
back to window shopping then.

Why?
The barrel is only 4.5" (assuming this is the rifled part) but if the suppressor doesn't shorten the overall barrel length when removed to below 12" then something like this would still be legal here, unless I'm missing something. There are some 10/22s just like this out there and this wouldn't need a moderator slot.
But, is it worth it?
