I now have a very nice Turner M1907 AWS sling via 20Series of this parish and need a set of swivels with quick release mounts. The obvious choice is Uncle Mikes push button swivels, has anyone tried them and have any comments. In an ideal world the swivels will enable me to remove the sling quickly when I want to yet not have them drop the rifle on the deck at the wrong moment.
Anyone?
Reccomend me some swivels please

Re: Reccomend me some swivels please
I had a set on my 243 for some years with no problems. Need to replace them now I have changed my bipod arrangement.
I also have them on the rimfire and again no probs, and although it is a little light gun, it gets to spend more time carried on the shoulder than any other gun I have.
Just my own experience.

Do you know if Terry at M&M's stocks them as he is our closest place.

Uncle Mike swivels are fine. LaRue, VLTOR and Daniel Defense also make good quality QD swivels, to name a few.

These look very robust and are exactly the sort of thing I am looking for thanks, they seem to have tactical type female sockets designed to bolt on to rails or similar so I will make a couple of stainless sockets that I can epoxy directly into the stock.Porcupine wrote:Uncle Mike swivels are fine.
