I had a chance of one of those for 45 quid a couple of months ago, my uncle has one as new in its original box .
What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

I remember reading the story a few years ago that when Sean Connery (spit!) turned up for the photo shoot, the photographer had forgotten the PPK. When he said he'd forgotten the "Walther", someone at the photo shoot said he had one and didn't live far away........ hence the LP53.

Pity eBlag no longer allows the sale of airguns as it would have been interesting to chart the meteoric rise in prices of the LP53, GBP450 anyone?
