I snapped the threaded end of my Hornady overall length gauge. Have you seen the price of new ones. **** aaarggh 5mith 8-)

I can send you the drawings if you wish, I use M8x0,75mm thread on mine and use 316 stainless ends so they are super robust.

Yes please ovenpaa. I was going to try and make or repair the Hornady one until I tried to find a 5/16x36 TPI UNS die nut. No body stocks a die nut in this size.

I have emailed you the drawing, this is a picture of an early version of the finished item, everything is 316 stainless other than the central tube and sometimes the handle on the end.

£27.95 on clearance from opticswarehouse. But I do like Ovenpaas shiny ones.
