#1 Post by alan108 »

At the moment i'm using a .22hornet, but have been reading about a .22K hornet, can my rifle be upgraded to this calibre and is it a difficult and expensive job? Moreover ,is it worth it? Sorry for all the questions, but I would like to know, ta very much.

Alan,
I'm no expert on these matter but I would suspect it's a matter of getting your hornet chamber reamed for the k-hornet and then fireformimg rounds. You should be able to fireform with nornal hornet ammunition - check first to on the safe side.

Whether it's worth it or not is your call.

Some sites for you to check over.

Sell the rifle and get a .222 - a better round altogether.

Hi
I thought about doing this but went for a .223 and kept the hornet as well. Very glad I did as its nice to have a choice.
