Castiing alloys

#1 Post by JD4570 »

For those who like to cast their own, we're very pleased to be able to offer the following metal products:

Pure tin coils (approx 120g) - £4.50 ea

Lead/antimony bars, 80% lead/20% antimony (approx 1300g) - £17.00 ea

Lyman No. 2 ingots (90% lead, 5% tin, 5% antimony, approx 400-450g) - £4.75 ea

Antimony can be a pig to alloy without professional-grade equipment so we're offering the 80/20 bars for those who want to add some extra hardness to their melt.

Worth adding that the postage on these weighty items is not bad at all.
