When you list on co.uk you can list internationally, just tick the countries you want to send to and then specify postage.

C,

I am aware of that, but by listing on .co.uk you are agreeing to the rules that are specific to that site. If the rules on the .com site are more relaxed it may be easier to sell items from that site - if they allow you to,

Sandgroper wrote:As far as I understand they are all interconnected and you should be able to post on the .com site in much the same as Amazon works. However, you might get sent back to the UK site or be restricted from buying items that the UK site has prohibited - I heard of both happening, but not experienced it myself.
I was looking for some gun related parts a while ago, nothing on .co.uk so I logged into .com, just a couple of hits. So I tried the same .com search but via an IP Address in Norway, loads of hits! So they filter by IP range as well.

Not that it helped as none of the sellers would ship to the UK.

There's a fair few air rifles being stripped and sold on ebay uk at the moment, mate buys odd bits for old air rifles he tinkers with, barrel, stock and cylinders.

We already have a Wanted/For Sale section.

We could then :55: erob

Edit: any profit after forum expenses (remember that thread) could go to charity.

There are ways around ebays stupidity..........someone who shall remain nameless recently listed some berretta chokes, only to have ebay remove them......a day later he or she relisted them as "plastic bag beretta chokes shotgun" the item discription was as follows....here we have for sale a plastic bag, which when sent out to the buyer could possibly 99 percent chance of containing 3 beretta chokes for al 391.....he or she put a reserve of £60 on it and sold their chokes sucessfully, and ebay could do nothing......I will add that people wrote him or her questions asking why they would pay £60 for a plastic bag! But these are the simpletons that walk our streets, brainwashed by the trash they live and breath in our media........

We found a guy in the US who strips old military rifles into the components parts and then lists them. He clearly states he will ship to Europe and when you check the postage it gives a price for the UK. Some of the barrels get listed under "Edged Weapons". In theory you could buy a whole rifle in bits and match it up over here.

PS. Just had a look and he has nothing for sale, he used to have lots of items. I wonder if they have caught up with him.

There is a guy in the UK that sells enfield rifle parts on .com and he has never had a problem. I myself recently bought a Lee Enfield No4 barrel that was still in it's wrapper, never issued.

Can't see why they would have a problem with it. As I said on my previous post there is a fella in the UK selling Lee Enfield rifle parts on .com. Besides look at all the sellers from China that are selling on the US site. You could try setting up another account on the US site with a different user name and email address.

That would be the easy part, the thing is though regardless of where it is bought be it a gun shop or EvilBay an export licence to ship a gun part to the UK will still be required. Woe betide anyone who gets caught over here doing it without the export licence, also you folks will need the paperwork from the UK end as well. Be careful on this one guys, it could end up costing you money.
