I'm afraid I may have just killed the market for sensibly priced AK's, as I now have a spare slot for one...
They never turn up when I can buy!

Hehe, I know that feeling. Equally if I buy something it becomes available for one third of the price everywhere the following week.

Just out of curiosity...... what caliber, and what is "sensibly priced"? I may know of one looking for a new home.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The last two 7.62x39 AK's changed hands in our club for £200 each but I reckon that was too cheap, they are £595 new so somewhere in the middle......Sim G wrote:murphwiz wrote:I'm afraid I may have just killed the market for sensibly priced AK's, as I now have a spare slot for one...

7.62x39 yes £200 would do!
Theres one on guntrader for £650, but whilst my arse still points south, I think not!
I think dan the man sums it up nicely, let me know if your thinking of selling.

Re: Best place to buy an AK47 straight pull.
I have spent my life buying things only to hear the immortal words "What did you buy that for? My mate was throwing one away last week"
When I was driving Minis a friend mentioned a woman next door to his parents had some Cooper parts (Nice I thought) I drove over to see the woman a week or so later to be told they had gone in a skip a couple of days earlier. The bad part? They were not Mini Cooper parts, they were Cooper Norton parts.

No, sorry, it's a .223 version. It's actually one of our club guns. We've just bought another .223 rifle and were thinking of outing it as not many of the probationers like it.
We've just actually bought a BMS Cam for anyone that remembers them!!!

I'd love a CAM! I was bidding on one in a Holts auction but it went for far ofer what I could afford at the time!Sim G wrote: We've just actually bought a BMS Cam for anyone that remembers them!!!
Might I ask where from and for how much? I have a 5.56 slot on my FAC waiting to be filled!
