Looking for a F-Class rifle

How did you get on with the Harris stud pick-up? I only had the S&L to test it with however it seemed to do the job very nicely. One end of the pick-up is threaded so you can screw the pin in and not worry about loosing it.

I had to undo it a bit underneath to pick up the pin then just wound it tight again!

I think it's going to work very well. It's solid and easy to adjust, what more do I need when I'm on the firing point..
I'll give it a good test at Bisley as I'm shooting 900 and 600 yds next week!

I had wound it tight up and it has loads of adjustment either way. What more do you need on the firing point? Well Sunblock is always good when it is needed :goodjob:

Yer just a bit! Got burn on the face down at Watergate Bay, Cornwall.
Lovely though!! Just hoping that next weekend the sun comes out to play at Bisley! I don't want to get my shiny new bipod wet!!

Hi all

Just got back from a days shoot at Bisley using the Tikka.

Got to use the bipod which worked very well today.

I had a shocking shoot at 900yds which was my wrong doing after picking up the wrong ammo. The afternoon shoot was a lot better at 500yds and only dropped 9 points. The only thing I need now to help out is a rear bag but the Bipod done its work well and also had many admirers to!

Evening all!

On Friday at work I made a rear sand bag out of leather. Just ready for a very new alloy rear rider on the way.
All I can say is that it wasn't easy to machine up being really thick leather but it got there in the end. I made it in two sections then used poppers to attach the ears to the main base, then filled with sharp sand! It's very heavy!!
Also very glad no customers can to see me coz I looked that I was into a bit of bondage!!!
