new black rifle AKA "The Sink Plunger"

#1 Post by kennyc »

this is my new baby, I know its not going to fire as fast as an AR nor be as easy to fire consistently, however it is more involving to shoot and offers a challenge to brighten up those "plinking" sessions :0037: with a 20" 1in9 twist barrel 600 yrds should be doable.

Do you think you could shoot it from the week hand?

They look good with a moderator on the end, are you going to get one?

They're good for foxes out of a truck cab too :good:

Have you got the Trigger Tamer in yours? It lightened my trigger up quite a bit, but didn't do much for the 'squashy' feeling

no problem with weak hand shooting its ambidextrous and as a straight pull no real worry about ejection path :D I have a .30 cal mod that fits I'm off to TVP HQ tomorrow to see about getting an ammo allowance put back on my cert so I'll ask if the mod can be swapped as required (I have a .223 mod on my cert but don't really see the point in buying another one if the .30 cal will do) )

I've shot them with and without and there was an improvement with, strangely this one hasn't got a trigger tamer, however it has had some use and yet seems "looser" and easier to fire smoothly than the other one I have used? as for the pull.... well when you are using a 3 finger technique its hard to notice the 15 stage trigger pull

Looks like the Australians are keeping theirs for a while longer

Also noticed the Irish army with them as well - perhaps a cheap source for magazines?
