Cowboy action shooting

Cowboy action shooting; the guy is almost playing a tune. I'm assuming he's shooting light loads but still its impressive:

I've been a big fan of CAS for a long time. Some of the fellas involved in it are truely amazing with the speed they can use 19th century technology......
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Nice! I wouldn't mind giving it a go, more or less practical shooting in fancy dress! Yee-haw!

What amused me on another clip is that there is a short script to go through before the hooter; something like: "Who you looking at mate?" - "You better be ready to back that up...!". Looks fun!

It's the only thing we have left in the way of a "3 gun comp"....... pistol, rifle and shotgun. Unfortunately for me, I'm not sure how the vetting dept would look upon getting dressed up as a cowboy, sitting on a "broomstick" horse and shooting steel plates as quick as I could........
