SPITFIRE CAMERA GUN FILM PLUS

This is a rather well put togther piece with effective use of music. Sobering that for some individuals their last moments are captured on film but still a compelling piece.

Very compelling and as you say sobering when you realise you're watching someone die.

On the technical side, some very good examples of low level flying and deflection shooting.

I've seen some of that footage before credited to other aircraft and possibly most air to ground stuff is probably not from Spitfires but still interesting footage.

I found it very interesting and it also leads to some other good stuff as well.

Chilling. I can never put into words how I feel when I see these types of videos.

It's very easy for us to distance ourselves from History, but it hits you like a sledgehammer when you actually start to realise that you're watching recorded captions of time itself. These are not just black and white people and events. These things really happened, they were REAL PEOPLE who lived, breathed, laughed, loved and cried.

That just humbles me.

Amazing stuff, poor souls in those cockpit strikes though....I wonder how many folks on the ground got strafed by accident when the shots missed...........
