If memory serves, Rangemasters run around 5 grand new.

I couldn't get on with the AI stock, I'm just the wrong shape. Got rid of it and went for an RPA Inteceptor as the Robertson stock was perfect for me.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

This place has prices for RPA stuff, and AI stuff for that matter. Was expecting RPA to be cheaper than AI!

Sim

I had the same issue with the old AI stock :bad: The new AX is a different beast though, how ever if like me you shoot with a back bag it's still not ideal but I guess it wasn't designed to be a target stock.

A good choice.

Have you seen the new AICS replacement stock sides being marketed by http://www.victorcompanyusa.com/

They make for an interesting alternative.

Yes I have recently emailed them and very soon they will have them for the AW, I might even have to give it a try, not that I dont get on very well with the std AW stock.
Anyway CK what are you going to put on all of those rails  ;) ;) ;) good choice though IMHO you wont go far wrong with it, I have done my sums with trading my AW and realisically I couldnt see any gain over the AW other than looking it the dogs.
That doesnt mean I wouldnt have one though given the right circumstances ie a good deal :good:

I always wanted the AW but think the AX is something something else, and not to common. Have no idea what to put on the rails, dont think I will bling it up to much though but you never know :o

Just have to wait to hear back from them now, will depend on final £ and how long it will take
