Held in Arizona in 100F sunshine over two days, Advanced Tactical Handgun - Level 2.
Gun is a Glock 17. Sorry no more photos, no one had a real camera and I left my video cam in the hotel as I reckoned the heat would fry it...DOH! Varied backgrounds of students, met a few faces from previous trips, inc one lad who is now a US Marshall after being a State Trooper, he was well fast on the draw for a fat lad!
This target is a partially concealed baddie hiding in a window...you can see the "frames" on the pictures I think. A great time was had and well worth the trip. This exercise involved a run (it was HOT) to where we fired from after drawing from holster - no barrier hugging stuff - just a "lean out" to minimise exposure to the hostile fire.

Plenty of variety (multiple targets, hostage scenarios, no shoots and split second decision stuff....and awkward position shooting...I was walking like Robocop after the first day with all the crouching kneeling and squatting (no not on the pot!) ....
Also had a wee trip to Scottsdale gun club for a session on the HK G36 on semi and full auto. Couldn't manage to get it to do a two shot burst on full auto yet (can do with most other AR's & SMG's and some belt feds.) Lack of practice methinks... Best I got was a single or three shot burst...ah well, next time,.
There was an English bloke at SGC target shooting a 44 revolver....he was GOOD, some impessive groups and daft distances...Was wondering if they were HIS guns held by a friend, certainly seemed like it...!
Oh yes, I forgot....the ambush scenarios - where we drove to a barricade and shot from inside the car at 4 hostile steels and then reversed back out of harms way - that was just awesome fun!
