I shot a 45mm group at 600m today. .266moa. Only shots I took today because it started raining...

wild ass guess but some sort of bypass route for ground digging rodents to travel by so they dont dig up the cables in the ground to the substation behind

Unlike some I can and do shoot in the rain...
I was shooting Danish 7,62x51 AMA stuff which was grouping (As many shots as I could shoot) at just a tad under five inches at 650 yards so plenty good enough for me and my Huns head to play with. I had to stop in the end as it was raining so much I could not see the butts let alone the HH

1- It's not raining
2- Cloud cover is less than 5% (it might rain)
3- The ground isn't wet (it has rained recently)
4- Ambient air temp is +18'c (to dry out the above)
