It is essentially a .45-70 rolling block (26" heavy target barrel, half octagonal), but made smoothbore and chambered for 3" .410 shells. This means it is remarkably heavy, absolutely solid, and proofed for very high pressures (.45-70 level). The gun is finished to a high standard with deep bluing on the barrel, a polished receiver and colour-cased hammer and block. German silver blade front sight, simple notch rear. Holes drilled and tapped for a tang sight too if you have .410 slugs on your FAC
