Matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, magazine floor plate and the steel buttplate but bolt serial number is different and probably changed during a refurb.Overall the metalwork is in very nice condition for the age and the stock has a nice patina and retains most of it's original shellac finish.
The chamber is good for its age and although the rifling is a bit frosty it is still perfectly shootable. The rifling at the muzzle is admittedly quite worn but whilst it is not the best grouping paper-puncher it will easily still drop Fig11s at 4-500m with milsurp 54r and will dispatch clay pigeons placed in a backstop at 100m with ease.It is an honest Mosin that hasn't been messed about with and will still provide years of service as well as being a piece of history.
Looking for £370, face-to-face (on production of a valid FAC with the relevant slot, 7.62x54r) or transfer to an RFD at cost to the buyer (which is £30 from my RFD)
Don't know why the top pic keeps coming out on it's side!.....if anyone wants more photos or photos of a specific part etc give me a shout
