I'd like some opinions please.
I'm considering buying a rubber scope eye piece for my bunny gun, one of those concertina type things.
My reasons being that it could be useful for keeping out unwanted sunshine and getting the correct eye relief instantly.
A concern is that as I wear specs this could be a problem as I will not get to block light totally out and thus will be a waste of time and cash.
Anyone here wear specs and use one of these scope rubbers? Any good?

Can you adjust the scope so you don't need to wear your glasses? If so, and it's only bunny level recoil, I'd guess you'd be fine.

I take off my glasses when using scopes on .22, .223 and .308, but if anyone else tries my guns, they find the scope picture blurry.

Is it this type of eyepiece you have in mind?

You should be able to adjust your scopes eye piece to focus without wearing classes. But you'll be blind as soon as you take your eye off the scope!

Or you could wear contact lenses?

Not an issue for me using the eyepiece pictured wearing glasses. Although it did take a few shots to get used to it.

You will end up bending the c**p out of your glasses unless you can get one big enough that the lens fits inside as well. That might not bother you to be fair, but I can detect the slightest misalignment of my glasses and it does my head in!

Another vote for adjusting the scope so you can take your glasses off.
I use varifocals which are not really helpful to most shooting!

Personally I cannot see how severely restricting your binocular vision is an aid when shooting live animals. Depth perception, binocular summation and field of view are lost or massively hampered even with a parallax adjusted monocular vision.

More to the point, train yourself to shoot with both eyes open whether with irons, red dot or magnified scope.

If I shoot with both eyes open I get less eye strain, if that makes sense.

Yes, I do on a few of my rifles, and they work well for me. I've never really had any problems with the scope/extension interface - you'll soon work out the 'right' position. I use the Bisley scope extensions, although they all do the same thing. For the sake of £10'ish, they're well worth trying.

I shoot with both eyes open too, and the extension doesn't interfere with binocular vision.
