I like that!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Impressive video, amazing detail.
Is it me, or is it shooting a bit to the right though?

Its accurate - I was looking at a HPS until one bloody fte cost me two rounds.daman wrote:Impressive video, amazing detail.

This slo mo has actually confirmed what I thought was the cause - the Vepr is VERY sensitive to anything placed on top cover.
My next job is to weld a short section of picatinny rail in place of rearsight and move the red dot there.

Are you sure you can't just get a dedicated 'scout' mount to replace the rear sight? I've got one on my VZ58 so i'd be surprised if there wasn't one that would fit your Vepr

It's funny the things you find out once you slow everything down.
I wonder if this shooter wondered why he's getting a dent in the top of every empty case?

Thanks - I have the materials here to copy the idea of mounting where rearsight goes, using a cross bolt etckennyc wrote:any use ?breacher wrote:Good idea.Blackstuff wrote:Are you sure you can't just get a dedicated 'scout' mount to replace the rear sight? I have mounted red dot at rear of dust cover rail for now - will see how that goes first.
