What disciplines are you looking to shoot?

I’m looking to shoot muzzle loading revolver and some fullbore target with historic rifles.

FDPC s a very friendly and accommodating club in the basement of an old brewery in Shepton Mallet. We have 9 x 25 yard lanes and 9 x 50 yard lanes - FB up to .308 can be shot on the 50 yard range. Membership is open and you will need to do a six month probationary period where you will be instructed in Under Lever Rifle, 10/22 Ruger, Full Bore, Shotgun and Black Powder Revolver. Even if you have an FAC this is mandatory. Most 'disciplines' are catered for with regular bookings on military ranges and outside competitions. It's a great club.

That's actually a nice variety of firearms you get to shoot at that range. I'd hazard a guess that Cowboy Action Shooting is popular there, as you can shoot all the necessary firearms at that range?

There is a huge practical section.

Gallery rifle National squad has quite a few members here and plenty of those who shoot on the circuit.
