One for one variation in Tayside.
Submitted my variation for a change from 357 to 44 on Friday afternoon. Phone call from Firearms this afternoon, FAC ready to pick up. Hats off to Tayside Police.

great new Mike !! makes me feel wonderful that does
I sent mine in 3 weeks ago and they've only just put it on the system to be done when I rang Lincs yesterday
I was hoping to have the AR this weekend when I had been paid but god knows how long it'll take
bugger

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

This turnaround is after all the experienced staff were got rid of. When I handed it in the woman checked it all for me which was just as well otherwise I would have lost my BP Revolver as I forgot to put it down.

Another 1 for 1 application handed in yesterday about 1300hrs with a full form. Phone call at 1415hrs today to advise it is ready and do I wish to collect or will they post it out?
Fantastic!

Not bad considering they have cut back on staff.
