In todays mailbox, seems Obama and his Commie cohorts are all out to disarm the law abiding and protect the criminal, sound familiar. Obama has been unable to justify his jpoke of a Nobel Award and has proven to be a puppet for various communist factions hell bent on copying Bliar and co whilst the country goes to hell in a handcart. As usual a sleazy attempt to grab votes by attacking those who abide by the law. Like others before him, NONE of his gun laws will ever stop a criminal or nutjob or despotic regime anywhere in the world...he hasn't the balls for that job, like all the others. Nnot that these power hungry dictators give a toss about you or I, all they want is votes and the bucks that come with it.

Obama’s massive anti-gun payoff is in the works.

I’ve been telling you since he took office that Obama was going to launch a MAJOR ATTACK on your gun rights.

Recently, Obama even admitted he was going to do it “under the radar”…

Well, according to reports coming straight out of the White House, the President is getting ready to unveil some serious “reform” to gun laws.

With his reelection campaign in full swing, Obama is getting ready to pay the anti-gun piper, and he’ll use any means necessary.

Obama and his anti-gun allies have their sights set on:

•BANNING the private sales of ALL firearms between American citizens;
•Ban certain types of hunting and self-defense ammunition that meet arbitrary conditions;
•BAN standard magazines that hold more than 10 rounds;
•AND; they might even shoot for one of their biggest goals: to ban semi-automatic rifles and all handguns.
They’re just waiting for the next crisis -- the next school shooting or public attack -- to exploit, so they can use the blood of innocents to grease the wheels of their anti-gun, anti-freedom agenda.

To make matters worse, we can’t count on the Republican leadership in the House or Senate to stand with gun owners. Their eagerness to cut deals with Obama on raising the debt ceiling, despite OVERWHELMING tea party opposition, gives me no reason to think they won’t cave on gun rights if Obama comes calling.

Obama has directed notorious anti-gunner and Justice Department stooge, Eric Holder, to work with “Second Amendment stakeholders” to craft Executive orders and administrative rulings on gun rights.

As you know, Eric Holder is neck-deep in the Congressional investigation into the Gunwalker controversy, involving ATF agents permitting firearms to be smuggled to violent Mexican drug cartels.

Just who exactly are the stakeholders Holder will be working with?

It’s certainly not gun owners, or no-compromise gun rights organizations like the National Association for Gun Rights. I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for an invite to THOSE meetings.

Sarah Brady, billionaire-playboy Michael Bloomberg, Hillary Clinton; those are the “stakeholders” that will be crafting Obama’s anti-gun schemes.

Members of the institutional gun lobby may be eager to join Bloomberg and company to beg for scraps at Obama’s bargaining table, but I won’t. The National Association for Gun Rights will NEVER compromise, and will ALWAYS stand firm against the anti-gunners in Washington.

When the White House was asked how long before they acted on this issue, their response was, “not far in the future.”

Something big is coming, they’ve got to pay off their anti-gun allies before the next election, and time is running short.

What worries me is, with how sneaky Obama and his cronies are, most people won’t be aware of it until it AFTER it happens…

…until it’s too late.

That’s why I need you to be aware.

I need you to know just how subversive and underhanded this administration is.

Obama has been dropping hints to his pals in the anti-gun lobby that he’s working on gun control “under the radar.”

Now he’s getting ready to take advantage of the fact that nobody is paying attention to gun laws.

He’s COUNTING on people like you being distracted by the debate about the economy or who is leading in the pennant race, or worrying about getting all your bills paid, as cover to push his anti-gun schemes.

I know that I can count on you to pay attention to the gun-grabbers in Washington when nobody else is watching.

After all, they are counting on you looking in the opposite direction so they can ram their anti-gun agenda down your throat before you can say “Second Amendment.”

I need to know that you stand with me against Obama’s anti-gun payoff.

Will you chip in $15 or $25 to help the National Association for Gun Rights keep fighting Obama’s coming attack on the second amendment?

He can't do the latter since it's been ruled unconstitutional. I think the most likely thing is just a shake up of how the NCIS check works with more data sharing between states. I can't see how they can realistically integrate military rejections and university barrings into the system so I would imagine that will fall by the wayside and gun owners will be essentially unaffected - they might even benefit if the NCIS check is speeded up a little!

The two big worries are that Obama might go for a magazine ban or try to 'close the gunshow loophole' i.e. ban the private sale of firearms and require everything to go through a dealer and thus an NCIS check (like in the UK). He did hint in his previous op-ed piece on gun control in the following way:

Most gun owners know that the word "commonsense" isn't a code word for "confiscation."

Which suggests to me that maybe a magazine ban is not on the cards - although technically it almost certainly wouldn't result in confiscation but would only ban new production . The federal assault weapon ban, and most state bans of this kind that were kept by a few communist states after the federal law expired in 2004 follow this pattern of allowing pre-ban guns and magazines. This is the beauty of not having registration - it's really difficult to ban stuff!

The banning of private sales is more worrying, but also seems likely to be harder to pass. Only gun people care much about magazine capacity, but hunters, skeet shooters and competitive target shooters use gun shows as much as anyone. But if it were to pass, it would only be a small step from there towards registration by then requiring dealers to keep records of all sales - and then they can start banning stuff.

Hi, a few years ago I was in Australia and I went to a gun club and did some pistol shooting, GREAT. While there I asked the range guy about moderaters, he told me some prat of a politician got them banned because "terrorists used them". No wonder Oz has so many rabbits and other pests, one loud bang and they dissapear. Typical of the ignorant. Ronboy
