Does anyone use any special kind of paper for printing targets, or do you just use ordinary photocopier paper?

Just regular A4 paper. If it's raining outside I'll pop them into a poly pocket before attaching to the board, keeps em from getting soggy!

All he needs to ask them is "what format ... " and they will give an answer such as: EPS, PNG, TIFF or even JPG, PDF, BMPbobbob wrote:That's a point. My brother isn't to up on computer stuff. you will need to ask him what FORMAT the files need to be in. Some can work from PDFs but there are better ones that [professional printers use.

If this is the case I would highly recommend PDF and TIFF as first choices. I had a poster to print off as part of my dissertation while I was at Uni and I recall the local printing establishment using TIFF images for printing A1 copies.Polchraine wrote:All he needs to ask them is "what format ... I print on heavier weight paper than standard photocopier paper. But for targets i wouldn't worry a huge amount about resoloution loss from copy of copy.

I downloaded some for free from Targetz.com and MyTargets.com then took A4 copies to my local stationers and had them run off in A3.
