Can't lay me hands on the rest of that file at present but here's a couple of other images showing how the cartridges should align in the charger.

I remember being taught that aged 13 as a cadet, along with stripping and cleaning, I felt very proud as I went home and told my dad what I had learned that night.
Shot the rifle aged 14 at Kibworth ranges we were given 2 rounds each.

What is a Sapper? This versatile genius condenses the whole system of military engineering and all that is useful and practical. He is a man of all work of the Army and the public ready to do anything or go anywhere, in short, he is a Sapper.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

do you have to stack the rounds the same way as this when you are using a p14 as the mag is different ? :?:
Re: .303" British Charger Loading
Thanks for posting this.I have a few chargers clips and never knew the correct way of loading them, but now i know i was doing it wrong.
Re: .303" British Charger Loading
A handy tip is get the chargers polished and nickel plated, they transform speed loading for service rifle competitions. I borrowed a couple of polished and plated ones for my P14 and was impressed at the difference it made.

Heres a pic of a training booklet from 1942 showing this technique ,
