NEW SITE NOW UP

#1 Post by JD4570 »

The new JD RELOADING site is now active.

I've included a little welcome video on the About Us page which will answer a few questions about the site. There's also a new product review video.

For backorder items, the system will tell you that they are unavailable. However, you can go right ahead and buy them if you wish. The backorder time is just an indication of likely delay while the situation in the United States persists.

I hope you'll enjoy having a look around!

The new site looks really good! Easy to navigate, search seems pretty comprehensive and there's a damn good selection.
One nice thing (if it's at all implementable) would be a "show all" option at the manufacturer (and possibly bullet type) subcategory, making comparisons a bit easier, though the comparison feature is very welcome!

Cheers

Strangely I found it worse to navigate to items than the old site, too many sub-categories before you get to what you want. Having looked for RWS brass, primer hole de-burr tools and the Thumblers spare lid gasket (which were all there the other day on the old site) I found none of them were on the new site at all.

No doubt I will get used to it smile2

Thanks Dean - I will have a look at a show all feature at some point.

Jeff - I've gone for scalability, hence lots of categories. They will fill out as time passes! Meantime, you can search for what you want top right. Most times it comes up with something. The three products you mention aren't on the new site, hence they would never appear. I'll add the rubber gaskets soon, and there will be more RWS brass very soon too. Primer reamers - not on there yet. If you want these three things though, I can soon pack them up and send them to you?
