What may they be?

Studying primers has to be one of worst ways of trying to gauge pressure.

It's only recommendation is that it is easier to do and just as reliable than wrapping oneself in a white sheet, disembowelling a sheep, poking the entrails with a stick and divining the pressure from that.

Well, I did take the other tell-tale signs into account, including case head expansion.
I'll have to wait a few days to see if the chicken entrails end up pointing north or south, though.
In the meantime, I'm off to get some Remmy 7.5's (Thanks for the suggestions StandEasy......are you by any chance related to Stan Dupp?)

2990 fps (Admittedly, it was around 10C colder when chronied them). Fill ratio is 102.1% at a COAL of 2.26" (according to Berger), PPU cases, full sized.

Sim G said: According to the Vhit manual, you're 0.3gn off the maximum. COL at 2.260.

I couldn't find a load for 73grain Berger HPBT's in Vhit's online manual, or anywhere else, hence my enquiry to Walt Berger.

What was Mr Bergers pressure for these rounds he recommended, and how did he test it?
