To my mind, .300 BLK is for one thing. Shooting people who need to be shot, quickly, decisively and quietly. And by buggery, there's enough of them in this world today....
But, if you understand it's speciality and it's individuality, there's no reason why you can't play with successfully, whilst considering it's severe limitations.
I also think it's somewhat telling that, arguably the producer of the most accurate out of the box rifle available today, Savage, dropped the idea of chambering their guns in .300 BLK as it couldn't achieve the accuracy the demand...
