Do you have the standard two stage trigger ?

Would you prefer the double set trigger ?

If you do, be aware that the guy is a nightmare to deal with.

Over a month ago I enquired. Reply - yes we have them ready and the price is 440 euro inc one 5 rd mag.

I replied immediately - I want one - how can I pay ?

No reply to that. Took a few reminders to get a response.

Response was quite terse and to the effect that he was an engineer and too busy to send out invoices.

Well, he eventually unbusied himself and invoiced me. I paid same day.

No reply. Several requests for confirmation that my payment was received. No reply.

Eventually, he confirmed receipt of payment and that item was to be shipped next day.

Two weeks later and still no item ( airmail from Austria ? ) I started e-mailing after 10 days and yesterday I got a reply.

Was it an apology for truly awful customer service ? Was it an apology and reason for the delay ? Was it details of the tracking number to reassure me ?

No - it was one line "Item shipped - you must wait"

If there was ANYBODY else making them, I would tell him what to do with his product - however, he is the only guy to offer them emrolleyes

So when you get it let ovenpaa have a look at it if enough people are interested he might be able to make one.

I have also been in contact with Herr Michael W Mayerl (Styria arms) since May 2011 regarding his replacement magwell/trigger group for the SSG69.
I have to date sent 14 e mails to Herr Mayerl and have been graced with 4 replies (he only replies on a Wednesday when there is a full moon and it’s raining in Zeltweg)
My last email to Herr Mayerl was a request for a trade price for 10 No units. The retail price for 1 unit with 5 round mag delivered is euro 430.
The following Wednesday I get reply from Herr Mayerl announcing with pride that he can supply 10 units without mags delivered for 4312 euro!!!! So on the off chance I had missed something in the text I put it into Google translate and it came back as PI** OFF ENGLANDER!
I have spoken to people on other forums and not yet found a good word about Herr Mayerl, in fact most are unprintable. So beware if you intend to do business with him

Well, just when I was starting to worry that this was all a scam.........................

My conversion kit arrived today !!

Initial impressions - extremely high quality. Its heavier than I expected too - a solid lump of steel.

Just waiting on my trigger swap so I can put it all together and try it out bangbang
