I have a very soft spot for the Swing rifle, as my first ever rifle was a Swing Mk. III (#665) and for a while it had a twin (#281). These got shot in a total of 17 Imperial Meetings as well as several GB tours and a couple of Commonwealth Games. I've sold both of them in the past 6 months, as the Barnard I bought last year is just so consistent and accurate. In the end I swapped because of reliability and fixability concerns.hitchphil wrote:Thouht we could start a new Swingers Thread?

As has been pointed out before, about half of the rifles used by GB in the 2011 Palma Match were Swings, with most of the remainder being Swing-derivatives like the Paramount and RPA. Barnard are starting to make inroads, though.
