New Shooting SHED reloading consumables site launched

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

At long last the Shooting SHED reloading consumables site has been launched, I still have a load more things to add however there is a fair amount already in the shop. The consumables side of things will be run through the DANSK GEVAER (Danish Rifles) site and is accessible via http://danskgevaer.com and/or http://danishrifles.com depending on how good your spelling is!

My goal is to make reloading consumables more accessible to UK reloaders by keeping prices down as much as possible so you should see some significant discounts over list prices on the site. Not added yet are Redding, RCBS, LE Wilson and K&M and all of these products will be listed with significant savings on UK list prices. I will not say we cannot be beaten on prices however I will do my utmost to make this the case.

One small thing to note - Shipping Prices on consumables. We will have flat rate charges for shipping within the United Kingdom based on several weight classes:

Right now the weights have not been implemented so you will automatically be charged GBP8.60 for every order! We will of course issue a refund is there is a difference in postage and will endeavour to complete all of the weights ASAP so the shipping is correctly displayed. Some of the items we sell are very light (Cleaning brushes and similar) So we always suggest you tack such items onto an existing order to keep shipping costs more realistic.

Also coming shortly are a range of rifle actions and chassis systems built here in the UK that we believe are world class and offer features not seen in anything on the market right now. The design and production of these rifle systems is a collaborative affair with Robert Chombart and Chris Quatermaine and I am incredibly excited to be part of a new generation of UK manufactured rifle actions.

Finally, thank you all for your support of the Shooting SHED and if there is anything anyone needs that is not yet listed please shout and I will add it to the shop if it can be sourced.

Hi Dave and Christel
Good luck with this venture

For the record I want to thank you both for all the support and reloading gear you two sourced for me last year and so far this year.

Since SS became a RFD. They have been my supplier for all my consumables, bullets, primers and powder.

Their price, service and attitude in favour of the shooter is world class.

Thank you

TIM

The .50Cal market is one that is quite select as proportionally very few people shoot such things so the consumables are pricey. We already stock the .50BMG reloading kit which is press, dies, case trimmers and so on, plus the Shooting SHED upgrade handles for the Cast Classics. On top of that we have all of the cleaning stuff including some very nice long series cleaning rods and I am geared up to make cleaning rod guides for people should they require them.

Next thing is brass, ammunition, bullets including ultra high BC Monolithic's and primers and they are all slowly being sourced however if there is anything else you can think of please let me know and I will have a look.

We also have some 50, 75 and 100 minute rail blanks coming in. 1000 yard zero anyone?

It's been great to follow you from commuting to work on your bike, to moving into the realms of self employed and building up a business. The very best of luck to you both.

I've emailed a link to the site to some local accuracy types.

Any news on the GM3 powder?

Thank you all for your support, we are trying to find the time to get the rest of the items up on the site, a load more boxes arrived today that need to be listed and entered. I also have over 30 additional designs of cleaning rod guides that I have built for people over the last 6 months and not got around to listing on SHED site yet plus the bolt bodies are back from heat treatment so I am assembling those in the evenings..

No time for a motorbike these days :bad:

Mike, I will chase up the GM3
