So I had my FEO interview last week and he is very nice bloke a credit to Wiltshire Constabulary. smile2
He seemed very happy with my Cabinet and general security arrangements at home. He went over my shooting background and was happy with my DSC 1 and booked Stalks as good reason for deer calibre rifles and membership of a Home Office Approved club as good reason for rifles for target shooting.
He told me it could be up to 28 days before I receive anything through in terms of FAC etc so no its just a case of waiting to see if I get all I asked for.
I am like a Kid before Christmas. I am driving the wife mad .
ovenpaa wrote:28 days seems like a reasonable period, how long did you have to wait for your FEO to call round from when you put your application in?
3 weeks from them reverencing the application. Took them a week to cash my cheque and then the FEO called me and we arranged a mutually suitable date and time could have had it a week earlier if it weren't for pesky work commitments.
I had my very first FAC with Wiltshire back in err the 90s! - I used to shoot pistol with the then FLM at Devizes police HQ (They have an indoor range as part of the gym complex)

You had yer chance, you're stuck with the savages now!!
Well so far I have managed to get a Blaser R93 offroad past her along with Zeiss 3-9 x 50 Scope and Mod (just waiting on the FAC now to make the final payment) I know Blaser is not everyone's cup of tea but I have been out stalking with an R93 and took my DSC shooting test with one. I am sure the next few years will be a lot of fun :)
