Put my FAC in for variation last Wednesday and got it back today, absolutely amazing considering Durhams Firearms Dept. current situation :shakeshout:
So ........... where's the best place to get an SGC LRA9 from?, I've seen a few posts saying SGC are not the best people in the world when it comes to customer service or interaction and I believe there was another distributor selling them but I can't see who.
Any advice would be happily received :)

Shooting Supplies in Bromsgrove often have them for sale and are decent people to deal with. Please post pictures of one in the flesh. The "in the white" picture on SGC website looks awful.

Interesting, £100 cheaper than SGCs web price, shame about the forend though!.
I've email Roger Bill and asked if it's the latest version, Glock Mag, barrel length and twist rate, warranty etc. so will see what he says. Anyone dealt with them before?, I know he has quite a few items on Guntrader but that's all I know.

Bought a gun safe from them when I was passing. Found the staff knowledgeable and pleasant and willing to spend time with a complete newbie as I was at the time. Well established which says a lot. I'm sure someone else (DM?) bought a 9mm from him?
Great shop to wonder round BTW. Lots of Glock mags for sale on UK ARFCOM

Thanks, I picked up a new Glock 17 mag when we were in Florida a couple of weeks ago along with 300 Starline 9mm cases and 1000 Berrys plated 115gr bullets, be prepared I say :)

I'm looking at getting one of these as well. I have a few 30-round Glock mags I'll be bringing over next time. Is there any word on when new calibers can be expected? If they'll be coming out with versions in .40, .45, 10mm, .30 carbine or even 5.56, 7.62x39 etc I'd much rather wait and get one of those. I know it's difficult to accommodate powerful rounds in a blowback action though - can anyone tell me why they went to all the trouble of making a completely new blowback action? Why not just make an AR with a bolt that always holds open?
Can you use standard AR trigger packs like the Geissele ones? Can you fit AR barrels? Will all AR fore-ends and stocks work with it? Are the lever-release, safety, and mag-release ambidextrous or is there any way to make them so?

Hi :)
I was also interested in a 10mm version but no sign of it yet and the website doesn't offer much info on the LRA9, not even anywhere to let you order/customise one.
There's a great thread on here (which is how I found them) which covers a lot of your questions

AFAIK If and when they do other calibres it will only be pistol calibres because of the extraction issues with the rifle cases.

My understanding is the design is only suitable for low pressure rounds so 10mm good, .223 bad.
