Dads memorial shoot

It was three years ago yesterday that my Father past away so today in his memory I decided to get his old air rifle out , and shoot it the way we used to , he would set a target up in the bathroom and the firing point was the other side of the house in the front bedroom .
To be honest with all the bad weather I havent been to the range for a couple of weeks now so this was a way of putting a bit of lead down range .
The rifle is 70+ years old now it has a 12" barrel tube which has to be muzzle loaded by pushing the pellet down the tube with a length of coat hanger wire , its a .177 underlever .
Its all made of pressed steel . A very large V notch rear sight and the post foresight leans over at about 85 degrees , very low powered but it shoots straight .

This is one of the homemade shoot and see targets I made , [ see other thread a couple of days ago ]
So in Dads memory , my satisfaction of putting a bit of lead down range this morning at 22 feet , and using a home made target , Thinking of you Dad .
