Not knocking the guns - just "in the flesh" PM is almost as incoherent as he is in print, which is a pity
Given that reviews are supposed to present FACTS, the ones above are somewhat lacking, i.e.
Full Automatic self loading rifle - er, Us mere mortals never owned them prior to the ban...must have been a Tier1 issue item
Standard forend - looked like a free floating one
Magazine is Bombed-Up- ??? - look like normal cartridges, must be a new super secret design, no wonder we were not shown the target!
load the rounds backwards - er, wot?? I always load mine with the pointy bit facing the front
Plus he seemed to fumble a lot using the action of the LR9. May be down to his wrist brace, in which case, get some other bugger with better motor skills to fire it!!
He also neglected to mention that the Scout in the USA has a fitted flash hider - but the UK version is not allowed to have that as the hider falls foul of the wonderful ITAR legislation in the US so cannot be exported...
Aside from the faults - I am very keenly awaiting news of other calibers of the LR - a 45ACP would be just the job party2

I like the concept of the Scout rifle so the Ruger instantly caught my attention when it first came out, it would indeed have been nice to see the target and the bolt did not seem as slick as I would have hoped for, maybe that wrist is causing too much of a problem to satisfactorily demonstrate the rifle. How much are they in the UK?

Come on, in context you know exactly what he meant He said that the LR is "semi semi automatic" i.e. it automatically ejects but does not automatically load, as opposed to a "full [semi] automatic" (he missed the word semi) which does both.
Magazine is Bombed-Up- ??? - look like normal cartridges, must be a new super secret design, no wonder we were not shown the target!
Does bombed up mean something specific to you? I've never heard the phrase before and assumed he simply meant 'loaded'.

He says that the magazine is single stack so you have to load the rounds backwards, by which he means you press the rounds down slightly forward on the feed lips, then pull them backwards so they seat properly. Not that you put them in facing the wrong way
He also neglected to mention that the Scout in the USA has a fitted flash hider - but the UK version is not allowed to have that as the hider falls foul of the wonderful ITAR legislation in the US so cannot be exported...
Can always fit one yourself! A curious decision by the state department though as it is easy enough to export a Gunsite Scout and a flash hider, but not the two fitted together apparently!

As the free lance American reporters are moaning about poor accuracy it would have been nice if he could have shot a group to see if our barrel at 2" longer than the USA version is working any better.
A mention on the felt recoil would also have been of interest.
The video with the landy to the side reminded me of something, then over tea I realised what it was

For some obscure reason watching that Youtube (I have only ever seen this and the others on YT) I found this which has nothing to do with Landies or Ruger's. It is however a film I have not seen in years.

here you go, the definitive test of a scout rifle, shot the way it was meant to be shot, off hand with iron sights
