can you arrange a morning on the range, walk in off the street, and fire these:

Springfield XDM-9
Ruger .38 special
SIG 556 short swat
S&W 629 .44 magnum
and a CZ VZ58

It was the highlight of the holiday as far as I was concerned. :shifty:

I did have to exercise restraint though, it was too tempting to look at the hire wall and say 'yes please, I'll try them all'

It is hard to beat something on full auto regardless of where the rounds go, having said that I shot a heavy barrelled LSW last year and it was very accurate at 300m

We had a safety brief, which was good, as I had never handled a proper handgun, then we had 50 shots with the .38 special, 50 with the 9mm semi auto, 6 with the .44, and 30 with the SIG.

after the arranged bit, they told us that the range fee and gun hire fee for the day was included, so we could have anything on the wall, all we had to pay for was the ammo. hence we had 20 each with the VZ58 mainly beacause it looked like the AK47 ($15/20).

was tempted by the 1911, but had to resist.
