What would the equivalent of unique, universal or even trail boss from Viht / Ramshot / Reload Swiss.

A word of caution,

The equivalent burn rate of another powder does not mean that it will perform the same for a given charge of powder.

My advice would be to choose which powder you plan to use, then consult a reloading manual for the correct load data.

I want something that is not position sensitive and will shoot cast boolits slowly out of rifles.

Think what you might use for downloading a 45-70 to shoot on indoor ranges.

most 'pistol' powders are not position sensitive. it is small amounts of slow burning powders that are dangerous.
'pistol' powders are fast burning, and so goes off all at once anyway.

looking at some online things that I will not link to, it looks like n320 has similar powder loads to unique in 45-70

we are only allowed to link to published tested data on the forum now. I will ask admin if i can link to a particular site

I use Vectan GM3 for this purpose. Consistently gives good accuracy in .375 H&H.
