Any one using one of these?
Midas or Helos.
On the face of it look well specced - just the made in china I find off putting!
You tube reviews suggest they track well and are well made.
Yes - I know a lot of gubbins we use is made there.

I acquired an Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50, FFP Mil reticle from a friend who passed away. I had been looking at buying one when we next went over to the USA.

For a mid-range (price wise) scope it's very good indeed, certainly better then the equivalent Hawke scopes.

It's almost as good as my Sightron SIII's, I have no complaints about it at all.

Does everything it's supposed to, tracking is spot on, nice sharp clicks and holds zero on a 308, 300BLK or 6.5 Creedmoor.

Bought a couple of these : https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/athlo ... ifle-scope : for our club Benchrest Rifles. The image quality is great, the repeatability is there, and for the price the spec was far above anything else that was on the market.

These are only on .22lr rimfire Anschutz Match 54's, so the recoil management i can't attest to, but they do seem very well made.

Funny, I've recently been lusting after the Athelon Argos 8-34x56 FFP scope, but I see they're doing the Helios version for an extra £20...

Does anyone have any experience of the differences between the Argos and Helios ranges..?

I have a 1-4.5 Athlon Helos BTR, about 150 rounds of .223 and then while it was on a .300blk rifle, during a 300 round test the reticle started to rotate inside the tube.
Not posted it back yet, but warranty said lifetime.
