.22 Short Rifles

I have just been given a few more hundred .22 Shorts do I really do need to find a rifle to shoot them in. So what would be a suitable choice? I have a Savage Model 5 from 1848 already which should feed them OK, however I was thinking of something a little bit older.
Thoughts anyone?

I used to have a little Browning Trombone that could use them and still got a Marlin Mountie that can use them.

+1 for the Browning Trombone. Any of the Henry rifles - underlever and pump action - can take shorts, too.

Oops yes, 1948. We have a Trombone here although I did think it was only for .22LR. If it does take shorts it will be fun. I was shooting with it at 55 yards the other day and it was a cracking little thing to shoot.

There is a BSA Raylock in .22 short for sale on our club notice board. Get yourself something completely different!

I have the opposite problem. I've got a Henry pump .22 to shoot them in but can't find 22 short ammo anywhere.
Does anyone know a supplier in Surrey area?
