Are they of a die cast construction? It reminds me of the earlier RCBS primer tools which I am big fan of.

Everybody seems to be of one mind on this one.

Perhaps they felt that now Lee have slightly modified their hand held auto primer (square tray instead of round) that their product might be mistaken for the old Lee design during online sales?

Anyhow ... I'll be sticking with my ancient old and utterly reliable Lee hand primer for the foreseeable future..

Yes I eagerly buy any used round Lee handprimers . I bought one of the square ones and used some of the bits to fix my round one , the rest went in the bin.

I've broken a Lee hand primer trying to seat Wolf primers in .45ACP cases but the rest of the time they've been fine.
These days, I use either the original RCBS hand primer or their Universal hand primer & the latter WILL shove those oversized Wolf primers into .45ACP cases, though blisters are a side product.
(Note to self: Once all those b****** Wolf primers are used, don't buy any more...).

Brilliant! Thanks for this. Didn't realise I could resurrect my broken one and ditch the square POS!
