I'm putting in for another variation due to forgetting to add a moderator the last time. That bit is sorted.
At the same time I want to change the usage of my RF and 223 rifles so as to be able to shoot over land with them as well as target shooting. Currently they are on my ticket as to be used at the club only.
I have land added to my ticket already so that's not a problem either.
Looking at the variation form there is only sections for adding/disposing of firearms/ammunition with no section for change of use.
How would I word a change of use and in which section should I write this in? Add it in the notes section?

The new forms have a quite generous notes section IIRC so use that. In the past I used to include a short letter explaining exactly what I wanted to do and I guess that'd be OK.

But if in doubt give the licensing department a call and ask what they'd like you to do as they'll be the ones administering it anyway.

Also you aren't changing use you are adding to the existing.
