Hi all,

Looking for a shotgun (NEW) for breaking Clays, I've done some research and really like the look and feel of the Beretta 686e Evo Sport, however I would welcome alternative suggestions / input it has to 12ga and be on a shotgun cert no FAC.

Also budget is around £1800

Thanks

You can't beat a shop on a clay range for trying out a gun. Fit is really important when choosing a clay gun if you're serious about the sport.

I've had a 686 for 20 years and it was a great gun then, no idea how they are made now!

Then again, mine hits me gently in the face every time I fire it so perhaps my advice is suspect.

Whatsafety first and dellboy say. :good: :good: :good:

Try them all and take it fromthere - don't just buy a "name".

Couldn't agree more.

What you may like the look off might not 'fit' you, and what you might not like the look off, may well fit you just right.

I was all set on a Beretta, but found that they just didn't fit me.....comb and drop on the various ones on my budget was always wrong for my shape and gun mounting.

Ended up with a Browning, and very pleased with it.

I am a fan of Miroku and although you may find a gun that fits first time it is worth budgeting for having whatever you opt for fitted which is not as costly as it sounds.

Ok guys thanks for all the advice, I tried a few different models however this morning picked up a Beretta 690 1 Sport all black version, it's the 30 inch barrel version and it's lovely. Looking forward to getting it out now.
