I recently acquired Match Rifle built on a Dutch 1917 Hembrug Mannlicher action. It is in 7.62mm, has a 30" barrel and came complete with it's matching numbered optical foresight.

I also bought a brand new "Cornish" ladder sight which was boxed, wrapped in grease paper and heavily greased. The box also had all the fitting instructions and a exploded diagram of the sight, plus a key for dismanteling it.

All I have to do is fit it.....!!!!!

That is nice, very nice indeed. Next time if you get a chance can you take a picture of the back as I am interested in the elevation lead screw mechanism.

Perfect - nice beefy elevation shaft and a pleasantly simple design as well. It looks like proper, low volume, built by an enthusiast engineering.

Very nice work indeed.

Do the two allen key heads allow a zero for windage?
