Not tried one however they do look handy and at just over a tenner worth a look.

That's what I was thinking...
I've never really found a sharpener I was happy with, and I've tried a few different types.

I use a Gerber Fiskars Pocket Knife Sharpener as much as anything, a small T shaped thing with ceramic rods. It must be 20 years old now and still works very well.

I have one it goes everywhere in my pocket alongside my Opinel.
Robust and handy it ensures my knife is always sharp when away from my Lansky and Edge Pro bench sharpening systems.
A blunt knife is as useful as the proverbial chocolate fire guard.

Brought some of these home from holiday in the US, about $10 from memory.
Very handy bit of kit, easy to keep with you and use in the field to refresh an edge, particularly the diamond rod.
