I'm trying to convince my missus that I can move my reloading kit from the garage, to our spare bedroom for the winter and not have the place looking like a mechanics workshop.
Does anyone have their reloading setup in a bedroom and if so, could you post a photo so I can show how it might look?
I've been looking for photos on the net but they all look like garage type setups and quite cluttered.

I could, but mine would meet the second version of the spare bedroom :) mind you. i'd love it if it was only described as cluttered

If I was you I would do what I did. BUY A HEATER FOR THE GARAGE.

I'm starting to wish that I kept the garage a bit more tidy now! I think I would have had an easier time trying to talk her round.

Do you have room for a small shed? I have one of the composite types in the garden for the lawn mower etc and it would easily take a small bench. Run a temporary electrical supply to it for a heater / radio / lighting and you are good to go.

My setup is in my spare bedroom but it's s*** - it's meeting with wife approval that causes it to be s***.

For eg - I have a Hornday press, case feeder and a subset of the bullet feeder setup (I'm reloading lead not FMJ so have to tweak it a bit)...........and it's all setup on a black and decker workmate :-(

Completely toss and ruins it - but, it meets wife approval as it's "temporary" and "doesn't take up loads of space" - wheras in my mind it's "unstable" and "space limited".

My advice, tidy the garage and get a heater.

Mine is only inside because the garage has a 12 year old Audi I'm breaking in it (Anybody want bits off a B6 S4 ) Two Motorbikes and assorted machinery. As soon as I can clear some of that out I'm fitting out a reloading room in the garage attic space (it has the head room up there fortunately) once the crap that's up there can be brought down to where the car is / got ridden of.

As soon as my daughter got her place at university I converted her bedroom into an armoury complete with handloading benches, best thing I ever did.

Daughter wasn't happy but some paper, coloured pencils and bit of patience explained to her about mortgages, who pays it, ownership and who owns what can do as they will, that reduced her outrage to just tears.

Enough variety to suit most pockets & space options

Mine is a workbench set-up IN a cupboard with a Dillon 550 on it.
For the SG loading I tend to G-clamp the press to a suitable flat surface (which surface depends if she's out at the time - though I have Alpha rights to the kitchen table as it's been mine for a few years)

Also make use of a Wamadet portable press that can go anywhere too
