Todays shoot at Ponteland

Many thanks to Blackstuff for standing in as RCO with the Three Counties Club shoot today.
Excellent decision to get in one detail in at 300 yards as well (I can only remember a couple of previous shoots back to 300 in the last umpteen years). We'll break our reputation as a bunch of plinkers soon.

Happy to help as RCO if you ever get stuck too - just need a few days notice if possible

Our paths must have crossed in the wardens office. I was with St George club

Next month, we will have to carry a copy of the times and wear a carnation :D

Of course we were there after lunch, you know, the proper time to shoot :)

Just gives you the morning to sort your 'medical problems' out!
BTW I was trying the Marlin 35 Rem out at 100 yards for the first time. I was concerned that the Micro-groove rifling would prove to be a problem for cast boolits. Luckily the load worked for me and the boolits hit the bull every time.

I'm surprised you'd post that on an open forum considering the bull was happily grazing 2 fields away from the range at the time :o
