Anyone know of the availability of a tool to remove spent Berdan primers?

Got one of the old Wamadet sets...seems to do the trick once you get the hang of it

More importantly have you sourced berdan primers to reprime the cases because they are different from normal (boxer) primers?

notice in the video, you don't see him taking the cases off the screwdriver.....

I could lend you a Wamamdet for a day or two.
How many have you got to do?

If you're friendly with someone who has a lathe, something like this would be easy to knock up...
no "stuck" screwdrivers :)

Thanks, guys. I was asked for some inert ammo last week and could not find the new brass but was offered some Berdan primed stuff. Seemed like too much effort to drill out the primers. Fortunately got some new stuff just in time for the deadline. Like the Aussie idea - might get one of those knocked up.

The Aussie way is exactly the way I do it, choose a nice sunny day and prepare to get a bit wet and you can very quickly rattle through a few hundred.
