is there any chance of these sig rifles being made to uk spec?? since we had fals, lmt's, slrs, ak's etc there shouldnt be an excuse as to why not...especially since the home office has approved lever release and trigger release systems (fullbore) now !

It would depend if Sig see the relatively small UK straight pull market as being financially worth it.For KalashnikovConcern (formerly Izhmash) and RomArm (Cugir Arsenal in Romania) to produce straight pull AKs is relatively easy as some bits are left out and some bits undrilled etc so for them it is obviously financially viable plus the fact RomArm will take money from any market they can get it.From what I understand the straight pull Fals have been produced on a relatively small scale, with the possible exception of the Imbel versions, as opposed to being produced by a major manufacturer.I know that in the case of Saigas from KalashnikovConcern if a military order for AKs comes in civilian orders take a backseat.

Tell me... what is a 'UK-legal' Sig P226? Do you have a spec sheet?

Ah, I should have added that it's a LBP. Basically a 226 with 22 conversion, rear brace and longer barrel but it's based on the X - Six slide.
