A couple of years ago a fella was making a speed loader for lever action rifles. It was like a tube with a plunger that you held against the loading gate and pushed the plunger which shoved rounds into the mag tube....
Does anyone rember who made it? Are they still being made and can I get a couple.....!!

I was sure Stockade made them, but a quick look at their web site and I can not see them listed. I am sure that if you were to give them a call, if they don't do them they will know who does,

I have seen the guys use them in comps and mostly they work well, I guess it is all down to practise. I could see me dumping 6 cartridges on the floor!

you can get similar for shotguns as well, I remember many years ago sitting in the front passenger seat of a car sheltering from the rain with two other shooters, we were chatting away when I heard a noise and looked over to see the person in the back using one of these to load his SPAS 12 which was pointing at the back of the drivers seat.
Just made me shiver thinking about it again :(

Some would argue that sums up Spas 12 owners!

It was a bad moment when it happened and that was many many years ago. I was amazed at the stupidity, the driver reacted very badly.
I could never quite understand why someone would want to use such a thing for clays (Or be allowed)

Neil Jones makes them, and jolly nice they are too. I dont think he has a website, but attends all the gallery rifle meetings at Bisley. A smashing chap, and anyone will point you in his direction there.

I have some of Neils leather work, for holding 12 x .357 rounds and another set of pouches for holding 10/22 mags. First class work and a really nice guy - who also competes, so knows what you want,

Thanks for the replies fellas, it's great help!
Heather, let me know any news if you would please.
DM, I now know who you are talking about! I've gt one of his ammo slides somewhere that I bought at a Phoenix meet a couple of years ago! This guy was there with his wife and have had the same table spot the last couple of years....... in the main hall, by the double doors leading to the "sun room", just beside Jim Hallams antiques and Micks knives?
How sad is it that you can remember where the exhibitors are at a show..........?!!!
