Shooting Excuses T Shirt

This weekend, ENS, Matt, Michael and some other worthies and I were discussing possible excuses for the above.
My wife has a bowling excuses mug, so we thought this would be a giggle so I am putting the challenge out there.
They need to be funny, printable, relevant, and not so bloody obscure or specific that they mean sod all to anyone but the divvy that wrote it (and in any event, if it does not either make the "Panel" choke laughing and need resuscitating (in my case they probably wont bother) or go quiet and slightly red in the face at recognition...they wont get in :55: )
And no, the contributor wont get copywrite, and we cannot return any excuses to you.....well that's what Tony Hart used to say on vision on
Some ideas were just variations on a theme (wrong primers etc etc) but there were some good ones.
My own possibilities are
The wrong kind of wind
The RCOs dog ate my score card
The corriolis effect did it
Slow bullets
There was a disturbance in the force....
Another good one was "my barrel needs cleaning", but they could do with actually being funny...
Any offers??
